See you on the road

We had officially finished our winter season in the Scottish Highlands and with spring around the corner we headed back south to fix up the van – something was making an awful noise! With our-home-on-wheels off the road, we didn’t want to give up on the adventure so we decided to go camping! We packed up our car and tent and headed to the Lake District for our first camping trip. From exploring Hodge Close and Cathedral Cave to getting used to life without the van, this was a totally different kind of adventure but we had an amazing time! We really enjoyed the Lake District but definitely missed the comforts of our van. Hopefully she passes her MOT with little work needed so we don’t have to rely on the tent any time soon 😅
